USFA Elects Two New Board Members

The United States Fistball Association (USFA) concluded 2024 with elections for three positions on its Board of Directors. The roles of Vice President, Sergeant at Arms, and Treasurer were all up for reelection this year. Vice President Wendy Stanton and Sergeant at Arms Eric Kindler chose not to run for reelection, leaving the two positions vacant. The USFA extends its gratitude to Wendy Stanton and Eric Kindler for their years of dedicated service to USA Fistball. Both Stanton and Kindler will continue to work closely with the USFA in different capacities, and we appreciate them for their continued efforts to grow the sport.

The USFA is pleased to welcome Jack Stern as the new Vice President of the Board of Directors. Stern and his family, long-time supporters of USA Fistball, reside in Jackson, Wisconsin. Jack and his wife Lindsey have been key members of the national team for the past decade. Stern aims to leverage his extensive fistball experience to help the USFA achieve its goals and foster the growth of the sport.

The new USFA Sergeant at Arms is Jonathon Borgognoni. A native of New Jersey, Borgognoni represents a new generation within the organization. He is a founding member of the Ice Boys Fistball Club and began playing the sport four years ago. Borgognoni made his national team debut at the 2022 Pan American Games and recently contributed to the men’s national team earning a bronze medal at the 2024 Pan American Games. He is eager to continue promoting and expanding the reach of fistball.

Treasurer Steve Kucera was reelected to his position on the Board of Directors. Kucera initially assumed the role midterm last year and now looks forward to serving his first full term. During his tenure, Kucera has already introduced several changes to the role's responsibilities and plans to implement further improvements, including heading the newly established finance committee. The USFA is thrilled to have Steve continue in this capacity.

With the election results finalized, the 2025 USFA Executive Board of Directors is as follows:

• Treasurer: Steve Kucera

• Sergeant at Arms: Jonathon Borgognoni

• Secretary: John Moorhead
